If you need a bit more information before scheduling or are in need of some detailed advice between sessions, schedule a phone consultation with one of our trainers.

Phone Consultations are not meant to solve behavioral problems but simply point you in the right direction. If you’d like a more in depth discussion of your dog’s behaviors, please sign up for a Video Consultation or an Individual Session.

VIDEO
CONSULTATION

Great for clients that aren’t local or just need a little extra help! Video Consultations allow our trainers to get to the root of the issue at hand and discuss the psychology behind the behaviors you’re seeing. We’ll provide suggestions on how to restructure certain interactions with your dog and help clarify any miscommunication.

Please note that all video consultations are scheduled in Eastern Standard Time. When you book, please ensure that the time you booked for still works for you in your time zone! You’ll receive a google meet video link before your scheduled time.

TRAINING:
AT THE CENTER

This service is our go to recommendation for new clients. Setting up an individual training session at the center allows us to create a foundation in a neutral environment. No matter the age, size, breed, or behavior, let’s get to work creating a balanced relationship and a balanced dog.

Proof of current Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines required

  • $150/session

  • Multi-Dog Sessions: $50 additional charge

  • Custom packages available after initial session

TRAINING:
IN HOME

If you’re unable to make it to the center for a session or would like to schedule a follow up at your home or any other location, we’ll come to you! Our in home sessions do book out a good bit in advance so if this is a service you’re interested in, we suggest getting it on the books sooner rather than later!

Proof of current Rabies and DHPP vaccines required

  • $175/session

  • Multi-Dog Sessions: $50 additional charge

  • Travel Fee ($25) applied to sessions located over an hour from the behavior center

DAY TRAIN
PROGRAM

The Day Train program is the perfect service if you’re looking for more in depth training. Your dog will spend the day with us working with one of our trainers on your dog’s specific We may suggest individual sessions either before or after the day train to make sure you’re learning what your dog is learning with us. Unlike Day Camp, your dog does not have to be spayed or neutered for this service.

Proof of current Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines along with a negative fecal screening required

VETERINARY VISIT SUPPORT

MIK9's trainers have a background in the veterinary field and are experienced in handling dogs that are less than thrilled to be at the clinic.

We'll meet you at your appointment to calmly work your dog through their visit. We'll teach your dog healthy coping mechanisms for future visits to get you both ready to succeed without our help, whenever you're ready.

Please submit a training form before scheduling a veterinary appointment so we can provide you with our availability.

SHADOW PROGRAM

Come spend the day with the MIK9 Trainers and our Day Camp Pack. During your day with us, you’ll shadow individual training sessions and see what goes into running a structured Day Camp.

Typically, you’ll shadow two to three individual training sessions. In between training sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about healthy dog socialization while shadowing in our Day Camp Pack. You’ll be able to pick any of our trainer’s brains and we can tailor certain exercises to your specific interests. If you’re interested in shadowing group classes or puppy classes, we’ll try to line up your availability with when our classes are scheduled. Shadow Students will be observing throughout the day but will not be working hands on with any dogs.

  • Single Day: $300

  • Additional Weekdays: $175/day

  • Additional Weekend Day: $100/day
