RILEY

“Our family has known Millie since our seven year old dog, Riley, was a puppy. Riley is a playful, high-energy, happy boy who brings joy to our lives. But he's also a bit of a challenge -- highly excitable, overly sensitive to stimuli, and selectively fearful/reactive. Millie understands him. She IS the dog whisperer, but she's also the people whisperer because she knows the owners are usually the ones who need the training.

Working with dogs (especially the challenging ones) is what Millie was born to do, and she does it better than anyone I know. We don't trust just anyone with our boy, but we trust Millie. She earned it. She's the best!”

COSY

“When I found Mirror Image, I honestly didn’t know what to do with my dog anymore. I love my dog, but she was getting increasingly harder to live with and I was very burned out. We had worked with 3 previous trainers, I spent 5-10+ hours a week training. I was so frustrated because I was following all the instructions the previous trainers had given me and I felt like things were just getting worse. My dog has problems with separation anxiety, constant barking (regular anxiety), leash reactivity, resource guarding, etc. She has bitten me many times and I was so worried to leave her with anyone else in case she bit them.

The psychology-based method the team uses works and they take the time to explain it. I’ve seen so much progress in only 3 months. I don’t have to set time aside to train anymore because we just live with boundaries. She now knows how to relax more and go on walks without reacting. It’s much more peaceful now. We’ve utilized many of the services Mirror Image offers - individual lessons, group lessons, pack walks, day camp, and in home handing with Jillian (I can now brush my dog without being bitten). I love the day camp because my dog can get properly socialized and practice what she is learning at the same time.”

BUBBLES, MAX & KANE

“Thankful we found Mirror Image.

With a pack of 3 large dogs, we were struggling with communication and setting boundaries. After each training session we have immense progress. It’s unbelievable how much we achieve in just a few minutes. We also have our pups signed up for weekly walks which is so helpful.

I highly recommend!

Thank you Mirror Image K9 team for all you do!”

RANGER

“Mirror Image K9 is amazing! Millie has created more than a business; she has built up a solid and supportive community of people who want to be the very best for their dogs and need some help to do that.

She provides every resource possible for the owner and dog to learn and grow and succeed together.

Millie and her team have all played an important role in helping us lead, train and love our high-energy, pandemic puppy over the last year and a half. I am super protective by nature but have trusted them completely because besides being very good at what they do, which is clearly evident when you see them at work, they are just great people. We are so grateful!”

BOGEY

“Mirror Image K9 has been my first and only experience with dog training, and I’m so fortunate to have found such an amazing team on my first try. My ten-year-old Bassett mix, Bogey, had a rough year being passed around from shelter to foster family to family and back before landing with us, and his behavior suffered as a result. After just one session with Millie,

I’d learned enough from her to completely turn around our walks together. I feel so much more confident in our ability to improve Bogey’s behavior because Millie and her team are focused on helping me improve Bogey’s mindset.

This is what’s most important to me about Mirror Image K9; their method is psychology-based, so it’s not about teaching Bogey to respond to specific commands but to foster our relationship so I can provide direction and create an environment for him where he feels calmer, more comfortable, and happier. I’m so grateful for the progress we’ve made so far, and I’d recommend Mirror Image K9 to anyone who’s looking to improve their dog’s health and behavior.”

HAKAN

“MIK9 is the BEST.

When you think of a dog trainer, you think, “sit” “heel” “down” and other tricks.
They are so so much more than that. The key focus is creating the relationship with your dog and understanding each other so you can be a better pack leader.

If the bond is there, you can do pretty much anything with and for your dog.
I would be lost without them with my young Shepherd!”
